dNeero Surveys

You may have noticed that I frequently post surveys from dNeero.com.

In case you're not familiar with dNeero, it's a site that allows you to earn for every conversation (survey) you join. Unlike another survey site I've signed up for, dNeero comes out with surveys for non-US residents quite frequently (as is evident in the no. of surveys I've posted so far). It's very easy to answer these surveys because they're short anly take a few minutes of your time. What's more, you get extra cash by simply posting your answers on your blog and generating impressions for it for 5 days. True, this will only earn you a few dollars per survey, but given the minimal time and effort that you'll be investing, I personally find it a much-welcomed opportunity to earn extra cash.

Love my new look!

Confession, confession: I actually chose "Charmed Blossoms" based on the template design I previously used. All tbe 20 names I tried to register before that were all unavailable and the template I downloaded from suckmylolly was one of the cutest I saw when I searched for templates.

But I finally found one from that I think is even better suited for me and this blog. It has a lighter, more refreshing feel, and I love it! Plus it has 3 columns so I can organize the elements on blog better.

Thank God I work at home!

Top 10 reasons I why I love working at home:

10. I don't have to worry much about toll fees and rising fuel charges.

9. I never have to worry about forgetting my cellphone or wallet.

8. I can squeeze in chatting or playing games when I need a break without feeling guilty about misusing my working hours.

7. I can enjoy a warm, home-cooked meal during lunch instead of lining up for cafeteria food.

6. I can dress as I please.

5. I can prioritize family-related errands or events if I have to.

4. I can go to the mall and enjoy shopping during non-peak hours.

3. I can schedule my tasks in such a way that non-thinking jobs are done while my favorite show is on.

2. I don't have to worry about getting stuck in traffic.

1. Especially when there are typhoons, I can just go on and stay under my blanket while everyone else I know rant about having to go to work.

What's your best customer service experience?

I've seen a lot of service-oriented companies provide their employees with posters saying "The Customer is always right!", "Customer is King!" or something else along those lines. While I do not expect to be treated like a Queen, at the very least, I would want the customer service representative to acknowledge my concerns and address it in a timely and efficient manner.

What do you think?

That's My Share!

My family loves food. It's what brings us all together. Aside from breakfast, we eat all other meals and snacks together. And like most people sharing food, we oftentimes have to fight for our share.

But unlike most food-loving people sharing a meal, my family always fights for the smallest piece. And when there's an extra piece on the table, there's always a discussion on who should eat that last piece. If 2 people agree to half it, they try to beat each other in cutting the piece so that they can cut it off-center and grab the smaller piece. We're more like snackers, you see, so as much as we love food, we can only eat it in small portions. It's not even because we're figure-conscious. In fact, we could use a few more pounds here and there. But, somehow, our bodies never got accustomed to eating a lot.

Just a few hours ago, over dinner at a restaurant, I hurriedly grabbed a piece of appetizer as soon as the waiter laid the plate down. "I got the smallest piece! BEH!" My sister replied, "HAHA! Mine is smaller than that!" Apparently she managed to grab the smallest piece while my eyes were watching the waiter pull his hand off the table! And as always, we left that restaurant with a bag full of leftovers we'll be eating for lunch tomorrow.

The Blog Bug

I've caught the blog bug!

It's my elder sister's fault. She started blogging not so long ago. When she first told me about it, I just let her yak on and on, not really caring much about what she was saying.

Then, somehow, she managed to inspire our younger sister to start blogging as well. They spend many, many hours writing, searching for additional resources on the net, and blog hopping. They're pretty much devoted to it, often times staying up until way past midnight just for that. They tried convincing me to blog and I just kept repeating, "Me? Blog? Please! I never even kept a diary growing up!"

Yet here I am now with my very first blog. Call me a copycat, but as soon as I heard that they earn from their blogs too, my eyes just went KACHING! KACHING! KACHING!
